Ty was born in Wisconsin and grew up in a small, rural community in Kentucky. His experiences growing up in a farming society fostered his sense that the justice system should help those in need of assistance, and his years working in the private sector help him understand and empathize with the struggles encountered by those faced with navigating an often daunting legal system.
His experiences in law school reminded Ty that his childhood dream of becoming a lawyer came from his desire to protect the rights of others, and to ensure that the judicial system is used to safeguard the ability of every person to live their most fulfilling life.
Ty Johnson has lived in the Denver/Boulder area since 2007, and currently resides in Broomfield. He is a father of two teens, and enjoys participating in local activities in his community.
